Goolsby Brothers and Associates, Inc.,
has completed geological studies in most of the basins in the Rocky Mountain
area, as well as in other areas around the world. Our stratigraphic
and sedimentological studies have been performed to evaluate the petroleum,
coal, and other natural resource potential of these basins. Our largest
studies have been basin-wide and cover hundreds of square miles, while
our smaller studies may only cover a few miles of mapping around a specific
prospect. We have successfully evaluated the oil and gas potential
of areas dominated by hydrodynamic flow. In addition, we’ve effectively
mapped pressure cells causing production problems in oil and gas fields
for many companies in the past. We specialize in the mapping and
evaluation of pervasively saturated basin-centered accumulations, and have
worked in several coal-bed methane plays. Where necessary, seismic
data has been incorporated into these projects. Often, this data
is placed in a database for the use of our clients. Should you need
